Brr.

It is very cold. Last night we lost hot water for about 7 or 8 hours. Thank goodness it was back this morning. Now that it's 25 degrees out, that would be a really cold shower!

Managed to sell a few more Blythe dresses in my Etsy shop last night, yay! It fuels my online shopping funds. I can't wait to sew, sew, sew over Christmas break. I am able to sew some here but it's been hard lately because of the workload. All the professors seem to want everything in at the same time. What I really need to do is get started on making Christmas presents. there are at least 4 or 5 people that I'm making things for. and I haven't started any of them. I also need to get finished with my ornaments for the Holiday Ornament Swap. I'm really excited about it!

I'm having trouble concentrating this last week. With it being cold out I have to bundle up inside and once I get a sweatshirt on and a blanket on my lap, I get too comfortable and warm :) Like right now, I should be writing a paper and working on a program but.. I'm obviously not. Also, The Office season 3 is on in the background. Speaking of The Office, I can't wait to go home. I figured out how to hook my laptop up to our HDTV and we purchased the season 4 episodes off amazon, so we can watch them on the TV. It's awesome! now that we have no more new Office episodes.

Only 7 days and about 18.5 hours until I'm done and on my way home for Christmas break! :)

A New Start

It's time. A new blogging journey has begun. I have had many blogs in the last six or seven years and none of them have lasted that long. I either get bored with them or forget about them or some combination of the two. Hopefully this one will be different.

My first semester of college is coming to a close and I am finding myself needing a good outlet. It's going to be rough with exams and all these next two weeks! :P

We got our first real snow this morning. It snowed overnight and we woke up to a lovely dusting. Now it's been snowing lightly all day and isn't expected to stop until tomorrow night! I love the first snow, especially when it happens over night. It's just so magical! I reminds me of when I was a little girl and I just couldn't wait for it to snow. Every night before I went to bed I would shake my penguin snow globe and wish for snow.

I do wish that it could snow without being so cold though.

Just a recent picture to share, yummy cake:
